Course Objectives:
Theory:
To acquaint the students with various aspects of basic and Applied Microbiology.
Practical:
To develop skills and competencies in standard Microbiological laboratory techniques.
After completing the course student will be able to-
Understand the basic principle of Microbiology
Identify & evaluate the common infectious agents and the diseases that they cause and help in the diagnosis.
Gain experiences in Laboratories practices and skills in the design and execution of Microbiology related research.
** For final year students coaching will be provided for upcoming higher education.

Career Opportunities:
After completing this undergraduate course there are varied opportunities in such areas as Biomedical scientist, environmental microbiologist, Quality assurance Technologist, Clinical Research Associate, Food Technologist, Pharmacologist, Industrial Microbiologist.

Eligibility:
Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Biology by recognized board/council. Admission will be through the selection test CET (Common Entrance Examination).
